Caitlin & William were kind enough to brave the awful heat to come out and shoot with me and Cory on Sunday! I’m pretty sure we all managed to sweat off a few pounds! Despite the heat, I think we all had fun and got some great pictures out of it. The next time we get them in front of the lens it will be much cooler, they’re having a January wedding!

The image above was shot by Cory and I think the light was just stunning! He’s come along really far with his photography and it’s so great having him with me on these shoots!

Ok, so I’ve been awful about blogging lately, but it’s only because I put a higher priority on customer service. Getting photos out to my brides as fast as possible is a big part of that.  I have still been getting my previews out to couples, but it’s been way easier for me to post them on my facebook fan page.  So for any of you disappointed blog stalkers, you can still find my recent work here on my fan page, “like me” if you want to stay updated.  For any couples who really, really wanted to be featured on my blog, don’t worry I’ll be updating again soon, and thanks for your patience!

We went out last weekend for Angie & Nick’s engagement session. I spent the whole day worried it would rain, the sky looked ominous, fortunately the rain held off until way after their session, and the sun actually came out for a while too! I hope we get the same luck for their wedding this June!

I’ve been doing slideshows as part of the final image gallery ever since I’ve started shooting weddings, I’ve finally figured out how to use the software to make small public slideshows. So now my couples can share these with family and friends who might not want to log-in to the gallery and purchase images.  Angie & Nick get to be my guinea pigs on this one, here’s a link to the first slideshow. I also recently found a good commercial use music site, so this is the first slideshow with music as well.

Yet another first, they got to be my first panoramic portrait! I think it turned out pretty well, so I’ll probably be trying these out more often.
